Hello,

I tried to connect a battery to charge it on my Y13 laptop and it suddenly shut down.

I immediately unplugged the battery, but my laptop wouldn’t turn back on.

Since then, every time I try to power it on, the green light comes on, blinks 6 times, then turns off. If I try again immediately, the light comes on and then turns off, but if I wait a little, it starts blinking again. The screen, however, does not turn on.

I also tested charging an object when the light is on, and it works.

Do you have a solution?

Specify the brand of your Y13 PC? ... Did you use the original battery (not a compatible one) for this PC?

MNQ: "and this one has suddenly turned off": is it the charger that turned off?
I don't know why, but I feel like it tried to charge a battery from another device (different voltage, different power....). Let's hope that's not the case....

I connected a small drone battery to the USB port.

I have since taken a look inside, and all the components seem to be in good condition.
