Hello, for several weeks an overseas number starting with +683 has been calling my mobile twice and hanging up. It’s very annoying. I block it each time but it continues. How can I stop this?

    A number starting with +683 corresponds to Niue Island (Pacific), but a call of this type can also be a scam if the number is spoofed or malicious.

      We tease a bit about whether it corresponds to Niue Island or pretends to (it’s more plausible, there are only 1,700 inhabitants out in the world) or to the planet Mars.

      If the number is identical, blocking it should be enough, but it is common for miscreants to use an entire range of numbers from the same area code.

      It is then necessary to use an application capable of implementing generic filters, such as Call Filter, where you would block +683*, i.e. anything that starts with 683.
