Amazon Balance

I have a balance on Amazon, I contacted Amazon, it is not possible to transfer the balance to the bank account, here is Amazon's response today

I suppose this question concerns gift vouchers, as in the case of returns, Amazon issues refunds and therefore does not provide store credit for future orders.

Read particularly paragraph 2. You will see that transferring money is not possible.

  Gift vouchers cannot be reloaded, resold, assigned for consideration, used for unauthorized commercial purposes, including facilitating the resale or shipping of products from Amazon.fr, exchanged for cash, or used in any other manner prohibited by Amazon.fr's Gift Voucher Restrictions and Prohibited Activities policy. Unused gift vouchers cannot be transferred to another account.

Thank you for your response, no this does not concern gift vouchers but the refund of returned items directly to the Amazon account and not the bank account.

After some research, it seems that refunds are processed like gift cards.

In other words: there is no refund to a bank account.
The Amazon account balance must be used for purchases.
