Hello

I started a reset of my desktop PC.

After a while, I came across this window (I have the photo)

and everything freezes, the keyboard and mouse no longer work. I'm stuck, I don't know what to do.

The keyboard is wired and the mouse is wireless USB. I'm on Windows 10.

Would a restart in safe mode allow me to get back to the desktop?

It's urgent for me, I only have this computer.

Thank you for your help.

    Hello.

Most of the time, it is much simpler to reset the PC than to reinstall it. The reset will remove all software other than Windows, including other Microsoft software like Office. You will be asked if you want to keep your personal files or not, and regardless of the option chosen, Windows will be reinstalled in its latest version without having to select the language, the keyboard, or provide a product key.

The command can be found in Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery. In the right section, click on Reset this PC and follow the instructions.

    Have a nice day.

Hello and thank you jmarion3 for your input.

    Hello,

I started a reset of my desktop PC.

So you initiated a reset of your PC due to problems, is that correct?... The window shown in your screenshot asks you which language you want to use for the keyboard.

In my opinion, it's better to reinstall Windows 10.
