LibreOffice Calc: different thickness borders

Hello,

It is said that Libre Office Calc is compatible with Excel, which is almost true except for one thing that I can do in Excel but not in Calc: borders.

In Excel:

You can separate columns (or rows) in a table with borders of different thicknesses to group similar types of data. For example:
Let's say there are three large groups of data:
-- Dates
-- SpO² (Oxygen saturation in the blood in %)
-- T.A. (Blood Pressure)
The borders of these columns will be "marked," relatively thick.
These measurements are taken several times a day. The borders within the data group (i.e., between morning and noon, then between noon and evening) will be thinner:

 +-------+-----------------------+----------------+ # # SpO² # T.A. # + Dates +-------+------+--------+-------+--------+ # # morning | noon | evening # morning | evening # +-------+-------+------+--------+-------+--------+ # # | | # | #

This method poses no problem for me in Excel.

In Libre Office Calc:

You can choose the thickness of the lines (Format/Cells/Borders) but when I select a type of vertical line of thickness 0.75pt and then the intermediate lines of 0.25pt, all the lines have the same thickness on screen and in print.

My question: How can I set different thicknesses in a table?

Thank you very much for your help.

.

Hello.

You only did half the job!

You need to click on the borders to modify, on the left side of the window.

In your case, the vertical borders, on the left and right ...
