Hello,

for some time now, my bookmarks toolbar has been displaying this message: "For quick access, place your bookmarks here, on the bookmarks bar." "Manage your bookmarks".

However, my bookmarks bar is already filled and organized with my favorites.

I looked into it, and it seems that this message appears when the bookmarks bar is empty. However, mine is not empty.

I feel like there is a bug with my Firefox.

What would be the solution, in your opinion? Thank you for reading.

    Hello,

    Message on the Firefox toolbar:

"For quick access, place your bookmarks here, on the personal toolbar." "Manage your bookmarks".

To remove the message --► ''"For quick access, place your bookmarks here, on the personal toolbar''

Show the Menu Bar if you don't see it.

Right-click at the top of Firefox and check the line --► Menu Bar

In the menu bar, click on the line --► View

Click on the line --► Toolbars

Click on the line --► Customize Toolbars....

Look for the icon --► Personal Toolbar Items

Left-click on Personal Toolbar Items, hold it down, and drag the Personal Toolbar Items icon onto the line --► "For quick access, place your bookmarks here, on the personal toolbar." "Manage your bookmarks".

    Release the left click.

    ---------------------------------------

Close the tab '' Customize Firefox''.

No need to restart Close Firefox, the effect is immediate.

Sometimes ''Personal Toolbar Items'' gets moved next to the URL bar

Just drag it to --► "For quick access, place your bookmarks here, on the personal toolbar." "Manage your bookmarks".

    Hello,

Have you recently installed a Firefox extension for bookmarks?

    Hello.

No, there's no installation of an extension for bookmarks.

What’s really annoying is that this message shows up in the bookmarks bar, and all the favorites behind the message cannot be clicked.

To remove this message, I have to modify the bookmarks bar. For example, delete, move, or add a favorite. Then, the message goes away. But if I close and reopen the Firefox page, the message reappears.

I’ve really searched everywhere. But I feel like no one else is facing this issue. So I'm a bit lost trying to find a solution.

After some tests, everything is working and the message has not reappeared.

By removing "items from the personal bar," then putting it back in its original place, the message no longer shows up.

As if it is now being taken into account in a better way.

Thank you all for your responses, especially to Pistouri.

    Merci.

    Jerem.

    Hello.

After a few days, the problem has returned.

It only works for a very short time.

Could it be possible that my version of Firefox has an issue?

    Thank you very much.

    Jérémy.

      Hello,

The latest installed version is 110.0 (64 bits) from 02/14/2023.

      Help >> About Firefox

On both my desktop PC and my personal PC, the version is working.

The solution of moving and resetting "personal toolbar items" works for a few days. I'm quite satisfied with that already.

If anyone has another, more definitive solution, don't hesitate.

In any case, thank you all for your help.
