Hello everyone,

For the past 2 weeks, I've been having a small problem with my Nikon D3100 camera.

When I try to take a photo, the following message appears on the screen:

"Shutter disabled, recharge the battery".

Does anyone know what this means and how I can solve this problem??

Thank you in advance.

And what does the battery symbol say? It's empty and it's flashing?

It is not empty, it still has one bar left, but yes, it is flashing.

So it's the battery that's dead. Can't you charge it?
