Hello!

I have a Thomson 40FB5426 TV on which I can already watch Netflix.

However, I can't access other streaming platforms like Disney+ or Amazon or others.

I have this app on my phone but I can't find it on the Smart TV ("TH App Store") to watch on a bigger screen.

I tried the "cast" option from my phone (Xiaomi) to the TV but only the TV sound works, the video image from the phone doesn't show on the TV and there is a delay between the TV sound and the phone image.. so it stays on a small screen.

Do you know how to access the Disney+ platform on my TV, at low cost please?

PS: I just have a simple internet box from Red. No Chromecast or other accessories.

Thank you!

Hello, each TV brand boasts about their TV package to attract buyers, unfortunately the content often changes depending on negotiations with program suppliers.

If you have an access provider, request a decoder with the associated package and an additional subscription for Netflix, Disney, Canal Plus, etc.

You can get an Android TV box like the 'Xiaomi' https://www.cdiscount.com/high-tech/recepteurs-tnt-satellite/mi-tv-box-s-android-8-1-tv-4k-hdr-acces-direc/f-1067208-xia7023731314324.html?idOffre=1367242775#cm_rr=FP:7583423:SP:CAR

Hello, thank you for your response.

The issue is that I'm already paying for my Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions, so I don't see why I should pay for a second one for the TV when it's an app availability issue...

I already have the Netflix app on my TV; I'm just looking to "install" Disney+.

I noticed that Chromecast systems to simply cast the phone screen to the TV still come at a certain cost just to do that occasionally... Plus, if the app doesn't exist on the TV, I'm not sure it will work...

Lots of complications for not much...

Otherwise, I have to use my computer and an HDMI cable connection to access my Disney+ movies, but that's not practical either...

Hello, my idea is to install the app on your TV if you have it on your PC.

Note that many users use an Android box and set aside the TV package, which is too restrictive.
