Hello,
The personal Facebook account of my business has been suspended by Facebook.
The reason given is a violation of the rules regarding an associated Instagram account. It turns out that this Instagram account belongs to a client of my business with whom we no longer work, and I cannot access the login information, and they are really not tech-savvy.
How can I dissociate my business's personal account from this former client's Instagram account and lift the suspension on my business's personal account?

After more than 2 months of struggle and perseverance, I finally managed to recover my Facebook account today!! Let me explain my approach:
- With your personal Instagram account, subscribe to a Meta verified account (super cool, you get the blue badge like the stars). This will cost you €14 for 1 month.
- This allows you to get in touch with Meta support (report a hacking of your account and explain the situation)
- Meta support will get back to you by email, and you just have to be very persuasive (feel free to provide evidence, photos, ID cards, related email addresses, etc.)
- If the procedure goes through, Meta will link your Facebook account to an email address that you provided to them (be careful, the email address must never have been associated with Meta, I created a new one specifically for this purpose)
I had to restart the process twice. The first time, a guy named Sébastien turned me down. I waited 5-6 days, made the same complaint, and another person took charge of my case, and the process went through!!
I was this close to creating a new Facebook, you have to know how to persevere! ;-)

I have tried this method but a pop-up window opens with this message:
" Unable to submit your form
Log in to your Facebook account for more information on how to request a review. "
And when I log in to Facebook, it redirects me to the famous Instagram of our former client to which I no longer have access.

My account was deactivated without any apparent reason, and I can't contact Facebook. The situation is particularly problematic as it impacts the professional page of my business, which is catastrophic.
Facebook stated that my account was suspended because my Instagram account is linked to "u9josephmeganyhd72d" (an account I don't recognize at all and which strongly resembles a hacker!!), which allegedly violated the rules. I am unable to contest or recover my account.
If anyone has a solution.. I tried writing to them via Twitter but got no response..
Because we are going in circles, even a request for identity or other it asks you to log in to your account and always the same problem:

today, January 24, 2024. I have also just fallen victim to this type of hacking. I am still looking for a solution, I did not know where the problem was coming from. I took screenshots and stored them elsewhere to send to Instagram and reset the computer since it’s the same company, and to tell them that I no longer have access to my personal Facebook account.
Moreover, I received a notification from Instagram saying that my account was deleted.

Just two days after I accepted to take advantage of a free promotion. I entered my information, and two days later... bam, hacked. At 3:40 in the morning, my bank account received a payment request for 5 euros. I blocked online and international payments.
And there you go... standby and solitude.
Has anyone finished waiting 180 days and if so... what happened at the end of the suspension period?

I had the same problem and I can confirm that I was able to recover my Facebook account in three days by following the procedure suggested by others, which is to contact Instagram support via my "Meta Verified" account.
Yes, it cost me 20 CAD for the 30-day subscription, but my problem was effectively resolved in 3 days!

Insta and Facebook offer an assistance option directly in their calls, then go to your Profile, click on the three lines at the top right, select <settings and privacy<Help<<Report a problem.
This is the most effective way as your account information is automatically sent to support.
