Hello,

I have a classic outdoor camera that is managed with the "V380 PRO" app, but I can't connect it to the internet via Wi-Fi! I correctly enter its ID and the security key for my Wi-Fi box, but the connection fails. If anyone has a solution! I have had this camera model before, and I was able to connect it to Wi-Fi. Thank you!

    Hello, can you connect it with a cable! Can't you?

      To connect a camera to your home wifi, you need to directly scan the QR code located on the back of your camera using the manufacturer's app. Otherwise, connect it directly to your router using an RJ45 cable.

      Here is my camera!                                                                                                                                                                                                             I'm wondering if it might be my SFR network; I can't switch from 2.5 GHz to 5 GHz via the interface of my SFR ADSL box.     Hello,

    in the video, it's about the camera's direct wifi network that the app needs to connect to, or it could maybe try via bluetooth.

    In any case, it has nothing to do with the box's wifi at this level.

    Then, once the camera is accessible, we should be able to connect it to the box's wifi.


    And there we go, there it is ....

    But goodness, those line breaks are so annoying !!

      Yes, but the camera's WiFi must find the box's WiFi, as it doesn't have one integrated! I don't understand where it's getting stuck! I have the right app and the correct box credentials...

        Are you connecting to the camera interface or not?

        As long as the app does not have access to the camera,
        whether via direct Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, you will not be able to connect it to your box.

        did you try to connect via bluetooth, if the smartphone does not see a direct wifi from the camera?

    Hello,

    I tried reconnecting my camera to the wifi of my box, but it's impossible, "device off line"! I entered the correct wifi key which is on the back of my box and the correct ID of my camera! I am correctly choosing "smart link connection" to connect it with the V380 pro software! Any ideas? Thanks!

    I’m revisiting the topic: I have news. To get my camera to work, I need to connect it to its own network! Specifically, a network between the Cam and the smartphone. It starts with MV followed by 8 digits which are the camera's identifier. This creates a network without internet, the Cam connects fine and I can see my yard. However, if I move away from the house, which is the purpose of a surveillance system, even a basic one, I lose the network and with the use of my mobile data plan, as they say, it doesn't work! This MV network is on DHCP, without a proxy! Should it be configured differently? Thanks for any replies, the king of networks, Fabul, if you’re around...

    Ps: when I connected this same camera to my 4G box, the network worked to connect it; in the same case with an ADSL box, it doesn't connect! Is it a question of network flow, of its quality? I'm in the same location in both cases, about fifteen meters between the box and the cam.

      Hello,

      I think that if this device only works via direct Wi-Fi (which is what you're talking about), we should give up on this type of product; all consumer-grade devices (including cameras) today work with a cloud account, professional systems work differently, but well, we are no longer in the same price range.

        I can host photos and videos in their paid cloud. So I wouldn't be able to access my camera remotely? Why does it work over regular WiFi on a 4G box and not on ADSL? I'm on 2.4 GHz.

        What kind of camera do you recommend for a budget of 30 to 40 euros?

        After that, I won’t give you any purchasing advice, as it's a subject I've never explored and it keeps evolving, so count me out, I have enough on my plate as it is.
