Livebox 5, unable to connect device

Hello,

I just replaced my Orange Livebox with the latest model, the Livebox 5, but I'm facing a major issue: I can't connect all of my connected devices from my Smart Life app to the WiFi network.

I have a Google Home Mini and Google Nest, and they connected to the WiFi network without any problem. I was also able to connect two or three plugs, but not all of them, and strangely, none of the connected bulbs are being found, nor can I connect my Moes smart thermostat.
I've heard about 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi bands, and after checking, my WiFi is indeed configured for both 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Has anyone encountered this issue and does anyone have a solution?

Thank you

Have a nice evening

Hello, I am encountering the same problem setting up my smart switch with the Smart Life app since we got the Livebox 5. I have separated the two Wi-Fi networks, 2.4 and 5 gigahertz. I restarted the box and also tried with the Tuya app, but nothing works. I contacted Orange, but it’s a specific service that will schedule an appointment with me to take control of my mobile phone, the Smart Life app, all at the same time to try to find out where the problem lies. It costs 9 €, and the schedule is not convenient with working hours...

Hello, you need to separate the 2.4 from the 5GHz. To do this, go to your

Livebox, then WiFi

then in "modify the WiFi networks" click on your box.

Then on "different SSID for 5GHz" set it to "yes".

You can re-pair your switches, lamps, etc.

Best regards
