Integrate complex numbers into the CASIO Fx92 calculator

Hello,

I'm used to using the CASIO high school calculator 35+II where I can easily use complex numbers with the i key.

However, for an exam, I absolutely must use a non-programmable calculator (my middle school calculator fx92). Do you know a way to set (assign a variable on the calculator) to have i.

Thank you in advance for your responses :)

    Hello,

    It's unsolvable.

The issue isn't having i on the calculator. The calculation rules for complex numbers need to be implemented in the machine, which certainly isn't the case with a middle school-level machine.

    Addition: (a,b) + (c,d) = (a+c,b+d)

    Product: (a,b).(c,d) = (ac-bd,ad+bc)

    (for numbers in Cartesian form)

What is well conceived is clearly expressed,
And the words to say it come easily.

I believe we're in the same situation; if you have an idea, please give it to me.

    Thanks :)
