Casio Graph 35+ USB Calculator Solved

Question

Hello,
I recently acquired a Casio Graph 35+ calculator and was wondering how to connect it to my computer (to add programs, create my own).

I noticed a port like the one on my hard drive and a headphone jack, so I took the cable from my hard drive and connected it to my PC.

Everything is working except for one thing, I’m missing the driver...

The driver is called CESG502.

If someone could send it to me, thank you.

I made a slip, it should be understood as FX-Interface and not FX-Transfer (sorry) in my previous post.

I struggled quite a bit with the problem and finally found the solution. Recover the FA-124 from the Casio 85.
Recover the CASFORM program which allows converting file formats into other formats.
FX-Interface will allow us to read an FXI file, CASFORM will translate the FXI into G1R because FA-124 does not read FXI. 1) Launch FX-Interface, edit the FXI file, copy the instructions - 2) Launch CASFORM,
paste the FXI data in the left part, check the appropriate boxes, then CONVERT.
3) Launch FA-124, create the program, edit it, copy the right part of CASFORM, and then paste it into the newly created program in FA-124, a program with the G1R extension is created.
Once you’ve done it several times, it becomes easier.
I called CASIO to get a solution, impossible, you have to buy an option for €45 (program + cable) and that's not mentioned in the documentation, or you had to buy the 85!!!

I think the driver is now installed but I can't find any software to use it.

If you have a USB cable, it means you bought it separately; it is not included with the 35+ --  Nature speaks, and man does not listen.

I know, but the cable exactly matches the plug on the calculator to a USB port.  So, Windows does detect the calculator and I was able to install it. The problem is the connection between the two...

The driver is available with the FA-124 software.  After that, the software doesn't work on my device, but the calculator is properly installed.  Good luck ;)

Hello,  I have the same problem, unable to connect the Graph 35+ calculator via USB to the PC, it asks for the CESG502 driver. Has anyone found the driver, please?

Thank you for these quick responses, but I have already tried FA-124 without success. In fact, Windows is unable to install the driver and indicates that it "has not been validated during the testing to obtain the Windows logo and verify its compatibility with Windows XP." For my Graph 65, I use the FX-INTERFACE software. However, my connection is not USB but a SERIAL port, hoping this helps you ^^.

So, FX-INTERFACE is exactly the same thing but without the drivers.

For gui1, I don't know at all, it works on my Windows XP at home.

Anyway, my problem is still not solved!

It's strange, though, the connection for Casio devices is made through the "minijack" socket, well, that's how it is for me. Good luck to you then.

Once the drivers are installed, it is impossible to send files (.fxi) to the calculator via USB.

My problem is that the computer does not recognize my calculator. It says that a software is missing (normally provided but I lost the CD...). I would like to download it but I can't find it. Do you know how to do it?

So I have the same problem, I have the graph 35+ and I want to enter course formulas into programs! I downloaded fx interface and at first it said that my port was not open, so I made the modification in the software settings (selecting the correct port) but now it says "transmission error, data transmission is interrupted"! I didn't think it would be this complicated, what could it be? I downloaded FA-124 but it doesn't help much...

The links provided lead me to software that doesn't seem to have anything to do with "CESG502 ", but rather updates for USB ports..... Well, I found the solution myself
and I found it
You connect your calculator via USB
You put the CD provided with the calculator into the drive and install your calculator
you start fa 124
you click on the button to connect your calculator to your computer
There will be a loading bar that may vary in length, just like the one on your calculator
And there you go, you just have to put whatever you want inside
However, you can only put g1r files
so either you take programs for graph 85(sd) or you convert fxi to g1r, but it doesn't always work.

Hello,

I found my CASIO Graph 65 calculator that I bought in 2004 along with the FX-Interface 4.0 CD and USB adapter.

The software is still on my laptop, running Windows XP Home Edition SP3.

The problem is the USB cable isn't installing the driver?

Also, I can't see the content of the CD?

I wanted to review my programs and create new ones.
