Hello,

I would like to replace a telephone socket with an RJ45 socket, but I can't figure out if the cables are PTT 298 or 278 because I understand that it's impossible with 278.

    PTT 298 without a doubt,

    The PTT 278 has much longer twists and generally, doesn't have the same colors.

    The correct wiring is here:

    Grade 1 wiring

    And there you go, here it is ....

    But goodness, how annoying the line spacing is!!
