Opticslim 1180 scanner issue: it no longer scans the entire surface.

Hello,
I am writing to you because I need help with my A3 Plustek OpticSlim 1180 scanner.
It was scanning very well until yesterday, and since then, I can no longer get a complete image. The scanner properly scans the entire surface of the glass, but the image I then obtain only displays a part of my sheet, the rest usually being black-gray (the color of the lid), but now there are gray striped bands.
As an example, below is a scan when it was working very well (with a gray background but the sheet appeared whole)
My driver is up to date, my PC too (Windows 10, 64), the driver configuration is correct, and the scanner lights work very well (they are all on). However, I am getting a partial image of my scan. I have tried changing settings, but it doesn't change anything. I made sure to select "Max scanning area". I wonder if my scanner is physically defective or if the image transmission from the scanner to my PC is not functioning properly.
I have tried everything. Turning off and restarting the PC, uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, turning off and on the scanner, unplugging, plugging back in, changing parameters, uninstalling and reinstalling the device... I had seen on forums that you could unplug the scanner while it was on, wait, then plug it back in for a reboot, but that didn't change anything. Nothing works.
I wanted to write to Plustek's website for help, but I cannot submit my request. When I fill out all the information and click "Submit," the site asks me to accept their "policy," but there is no box to check.

Hello
To make sure it's not software-related, try, if possible, on another PC.
Personally, on another scanner, I had the same issue with gray bands, the technician changed the CCD ramp and the flat cable connecting the CCD to the image processing board: ok
Plustek's site: try with another browser (Chrome, Firefox...)

Hello,
Thank you for your help!
I just tried with another PC and the problem is the same. Everything works (the scanner is recognized, the scan covers the entire surface) but the image is partially covered with gray bands. It even looks like there is a display bug with the image as it repeats transparently in the gray area. I tried with an A3 sheet and it is clear that it is the same part that is causing the issue.

My scanner (pro) was a Canon, and I had a monthly maintenance contract with them (repairs included)
Out of contract, it costs the price of the scanner!!
To be 100% sure that it’s not a software issue, try the free version of VueScan (software with universal scanner drivers) https://www.hamrick.com/fr/
There is a watermark on the scans but it allows you to see if the gray bars are there or not.

So it's not the software, it's the scanner!!!
Ask Plustek for the list of repair technicians.
Parts and labor: I'm worried about the estimated cost (especially if a circuit board needs to be replaced).
If you're handy: open it up and check the condition of the flat cable (cut,...) and if it's properly secured to the CCD rail and, at the other end, to the image processing board.

The response from Plustek's technical support service:
"Hello,
Your scanner needs repair service.
Please contact the seller.Sincerely,
The support team France"
I will try my luck by asking in-store because my scanner was sold to me by Topesale (based abroad, does not seem to offer repair service) via FnacMarket. I don’t really know how to check it myself.
Thank you for your help!
