Wifi working but no ethernet network, SFR red box

Hello,
I have had a problem for a long time with my SFR Red box, I can't receive the internet properly. I've tried numerous connections on my socket, and it's only by plugging the small white cable into the DSL socket (blue: see 1st image) that I have wifi working. However, if I connect an Ethernet cable to my box (see 2nd image, the yellow cable) and send it to my PC, I don't have connectivity: it says internet limited.
I would like to switch to Ethernet because I need a good connection/a better ping for my online games (especially since I don’t have fiber) and want to avoid wifi dropouts (I have to restart my box regularly).
Do you know if this is due to my connection or if there might be a problem with my box? (In that case, I will turn to Red for a box replacement).
Thank you for your feedback,
Best regards,
Killuak.

Hello,
limited internet in Windows 10 or 11 doesn't mean no connection, it means you have declared that it is a limited connection in terms of volume, like mobile connections for example.
Check the status of the connection for your IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.
Also check the speed of your Ethernet connection.
If it really doesn't connect to your box, it means there is a fault in your home wiring,
bring your PC next to your box and directly check both cords, that yellow one and the one you connect to the wall socket.
You can also move your box next to your PC by using an RJ45 cable between the patch panel and the blue DSL socket or on the test socket of the DTI.
And there you go, there it is ....
But misery, how annoying these line breaks are !! -
I of course tried using a long Ethernet cable to connect the box directly to my PC.
And it shows: unidentified network (with limited beneath it), yet I disabled the limited connection button (I checked it carefully). Besides, it's not limited because I really have no internet access if I'm only with the cable.
For the IPs I have: v6: fe80::a9c4:8f28:73cf:2c9a%12
v4: 192.168.1.1
Otherwise, on the box's status by typing the IP address in my browser I have:
Service Status
Internet: Internet operational
IPv6: Not connected (orange color)
Telephony: Telephony active
WiFi: Enabled
Otherwise, after the troubleshooting utility:
Ethernet 3: does not have a valid IP configuration
What can I do?

I have that checked, though:
OK,
show me the result of the command ipconfig/all
Another question, if I have internet via wifi, it should mean that my connection to my electric meter is correct, right?
And therefore, that it's my box and its ethernet ports that are not working?
Hello,
I can't remember if I already told you, can you bring the PC near the box and test the ethernet directly?
Oh yes, you mentioned a long cable,
can you redo the test now?
And there you go, here it is ....
But dear me, the line spacing is so annoying!!-

No connection with the DNS, that's for sure,
so if it's not the Ethernet card, it's the cable; there aren't many options.
Try using the small yellow cable, with the PC near your box, or as I mentioned before, relocate the box to where your PC is by connecting an Ethernet cable (preferably one that works) from the DSL output to the appropriate patch panel.
Sorry if I'm not being clear.
My problem is that I can't get internet when I plug my yellow cable (which goes from the blue output of the box) directly into the Ethernet port of my computer.
I only have the Wi-Fi network working; I never have internet via Ethernet.

But why are you writing this:
I tested 3 Ethernet cables that work, directly from the box to my PC or on my laptop, so it’s clearly not the cables or the PCs that are the problem, right?Good evening brupala,
By "who works," I meant that I know the cables are not defective.
So when I connect these Ethernet cables directly from the box to my PC, nothing happens (I tried pinging my box after setting an IP address, no result).C:\Users\Test>ping 192.168.1.1

Am I clearer? I'm trying to be as clear as possible; I don't know anything about networking, I'm learning as I go along.
OK,
try a factory reset of your box, using the button at the back, if you haven't done it yet.
And there you go ....
But goodness, the line spacing is so annoying!!-
I did a factory reset last night just to check. Still nothing.
I think I'm going to request a box return to make sure the problem doesn't come from there.
Any last ideas otherwise?
Hooray, I changed my box and it seems to work perfectly on both ethernet and wifi. So much time spent trying to fix such a simple technical issue in the end. Thank you for all your advice once again.
I set my IP address and DNS back to automatic and reactivated the fast startup of the PC. Is there anything else I should consider?
Have a good evening.
