Hello everyone!

I just switched my phone operator and got a Bbox (Must).

A VPN is used when connecting to qBittorrent.
Vain attempts, it “runs” slowly...

Despite searching, I can't find how to configure the Bbox services:

Should I perform a port forwarding???
NAT & PAT, UPNP ?????

Visual of the "Connection" section

Could you please help me?

Furthermore, when using powerline adapters, impossible to connect :(

Thanks

Hello

Moreover, using powerline adapters, it's impossible to connect :( ---has nothing to do with qbt

initially, the Ethernet network card must have a static IP

A VPN is used when connecting to qBittorrent---not at my place

no need to check "connection limits", no interest

the ports for forwarding: from 49152 to 64034

manual NAT port forwarding is safer thanks to the static IP

Hello @Redbart,

Thank you for all the answers.

Indeed, yes, I "deviated" on the issue with the powerline adapters...
I am going to carry out the manipulations.

Thank you very much!

Another thing; in the NAT settings, choose "Range" and set it to "49152 - 64034"

This will allow you to change the port without going through the NAT again

What model of powerline adapter do you have?

Good evening Redbart,

Thank you very much for your addition.
I'm sorry, I don't see a "Range" option in the NAT :(

Here’s what appears on my side:

For the powerline adapters, they are 500 STRONG adapters.

Thank you
Have a good evening

Hello,

if you have a distant NAT (VPN)

it's not your router that needs the forwarding but on the VPN server, all of this is transparent for your router.

Good evening @Brupala,

Thank you for your message.
I'm sorry, I'm completely "lost"... :(

You mentioned "it's not your box that needs the redirection but on the VPN server"
for someone like me who is a layman... I don’t know and can't see where to enter this on the VPN server?

Could you please guide me??

Below is a visual of it:

Thank you

Ask your distant NAT (VPN) provider, I don't see anything concerning that.

A distant NAT is configured like a box NAT, if the provider allows it.
