Hello,
When I tried to connect to my PC, I saw an error message on a red background saying "we cannot configure a mobile hotspot because your computer has no Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or cellular data connection.
I am lost, I don't know what to do, and I would like to find a solution as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance for any responses you may have.

To keep it simple, I can't connect my Windows 11 PC to WiFi. At no point in the menu do I see any available connections. So I don't know what to do to connect to WiFi with my PC. When I try to configure it in the network and internet menu, the following message appears: we cannot set up a mobile hotspot because your computer has no Ethernet, WiFi, or cellular data connection.
Hello,
Go to the View tab in the Device Manager window
select "Show hidden devices"
as shown in the image below, then take a screenshot of the Device Manager window, or at least the part concerning network adapters
No, normally I should have Wi-Fi but I can't activate the mobile hotspot option in the network and internet menu.
Hello,
to save time, tell us exactly what you want to do and why, basically, you don't need the mobile hotspot, which is used to share a connection to the Wi-Fi of other devices.

So you are confusing the computer's Wi-Fi, in the menu at the bottom right in particular, to connect to your router
and the Wi-Fi access point, which allows when your computer is connected to the internet, to create another Wi-Fi network to share that connection.
For example, your computer is connected to the internet by cable, and you create a Wi-Fi network with the computer to share that internet connection, which allows you to connect your smartphone for instance.
Your problem is therefore that you have no internet, so skip everything related to "access point" because that's not what we need.
Open the device manager (right-click on the Start menu), expand network adapters, do you see an item named 802.11 or wireless?
If you are on a laptop, do you have a key to turn the Wi-Fi on/off? Have you tried?
