Solved/Closed

Hello,

Here's my problem.
When I enter the following number +33 (0)4767676, Outlook mobile saves it as +33 (0)4767676 h
If it's a mobile number +33 (0)6767676, it saves it as +33 (0)6767676 p.
A letter gets added, which causes a dialing error when I try to call ...

Help!!!!

Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0 Window Mobile 6

It's so simple... One just had to think about it...
You need to modify the modem options settings in Windows.
Well, it's logical. The problem isn't Outlook, it's Windows...

    Control Panel
    Modem and Telephony Options
    "Dialing Rules" tab
Select and Delete the registered sites (if there are multiple)
    New site (new window)
In "Site Name" write "your region" (Paris, Bordeaux, whatever...)
    Stay on the "General" tab
    In "Country/Region" select "France"
In "Area Code" write "0" (zero)
    OK / OK / OK

    In OUTLOOK 2007
    Enter the new contact's number without the "0": 1 49 11 22 33
Then double-click on the number you just wrote, and a window opens "Verify Phone Number"
    Country: France
    Area Code: none
    Local Number: 149112233
    Extension: none
You will see at the top of the window the number as it will appear in the contact (+33 149112233)
You will notice the space after +33 is automatic...

Synchronization on the GSM OK, call and text test OK

    AND THERE YOU GO

With the WM6 version in English, you need to format it as +33 676767676 instead of +33 (0)676767676 and it works.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.

In the options for number, write: 33556010203

    leave the "country" field empty
in the regional code field put "+"
and we indeed have a (+)33556010203
Syncro ok and call emission and reception ok

We should normally do country selection on 556010203 and we have +33556010203
then regional code "0" and we have +33 (0) 556010203
syncro ok but when calling this number it does not work = I think it’s a bug with our operators
    the "(+)" goes through but not "+33 (0) 556010203"

    curious nonetheless...

    if we choose the country

It is therefore impossible to have +33688776655
except by putting the "+" in the local area code, which gives
      (+)33688776655 and it works...

But not when sending text messages!!!

      So what is the solution?

HP6915 with official French WM5, updated Outlook PPC2007 and MS Office Pro 2007 with Outlook on PC.

    Congratulations to Krisinfo!
I hadn't been able to find the solution for quite some time. His is simple and elegant. And it works!
Use in parallel the conversion program http://trac.ogsteam.fr/attachment/wiki/outlook/Outlook_Number_Converter_fr.zip
that resets the numbers to the format +33 x xx xx xx xx, after the numbering rules change has made Outlook accept this format.

    Thanks again.

    Hello,

    When I enter a number in Outlook 2007 in the format 0033 556010203 or +33 556010203
and as soon as I change the cell, it records it as 33 556010203, which causes an error on my phone!!!

    Do you have a solution?

      Good evening Krisinfo
There should be no space between 33 and the rest. The number should be: +335560102023
