Inaccessible character formats in Outlook

Hello everyone,

I noticed that I don't have the option to format my text (bold, underline, etc.) when replying to an email via Outlook. Is this normal?

If not, what should I do to have these formatting options back?

      It works! I thought my colleagues had the same problem. They don't. In fact, they have the 2003 version of Office, while I'm still stuck in the dinosaur age with version 2000 :-)
      But I have to execute the command every time I write a new message. I suppose that's normal.

      By the way, I have the same problem with Windows Live Hotmail. I made a post about it. But I haven't received any response. I don't see the format command in the menu. Do you have any idea what it might be?
