Mobile data enabled but no internet connection
Amo -
Hello, I have a 4G LaPoste Mobile plan but I no longer have any access to the Internet (no page loads) even though it says I have a 4G signal. Moreover, I can perfectly send SMS and MMS.
When I turn on my mobile data (Wi-Fi is completely disabled), the notification "select a mobile network" appears, I click on it and it takes me to a blank page with two options at the top left: "Do not use this network" and "Use the network as is." Whichever option I click on, nothing happens.
After a while, the phone tries to
download the SFR consumption info page, where I can't do anything anyway because I don't have an SFR account, being with LaPoste Mobile.
I checked the APN settings, reset the settings. I restarted my phone and tested another phone, I encountered the same symptoms.
I called technical support, but they couldn't tell me anything, especially since they have been hacked.
I have no idea how to resolve this issue.

Hello,
In Settings => Connections => Mobile Networks
- The Network mode should be set to Automatic connection
- Network operators must be set to Automatic selection
- Access point names allows you to configure the APN. Make sure everything is correct by comparing it with what is indicated on this site: https://forum.lapostemobile.fr/questions/1577915-parametrage-apn
The redirection to the SFR page is not normal; however, it is not surprising since Laposte Mobile uses the SFR network.
What is well understood is clearly stated,
And the words to express it come easily.

Everything is selected automatically and I have reset the APN settings and even filled them in manually just to be sure, but nothing works.
I put the SIM card in my old phone (which had been using this same SIM card without any problems before) and I literally have the same pages displayed. That's why I think we can rule out any issues related to the phone itself (it was working well just a week ago and I haven't changed my settings).
This is not a network problem because I can send SMS/MMS, and from what the technical service told me, they confirmed that my line is active.
The SIM card seems functional because I can send SMS/MMS. However, I'm not a specialist and I don't know if a defective SIM card can still send SMS but no longer allow access to mobile data? This SIM card is 3 years old.
I'm really struggling to pinpoint the problem.
Afterwards, La Poste Mobile suffered an attack on 07/04 that they still haven't resolved to this day.
Although it is written that this attack did not affect the servers necessary for the operation of mobile lines, it's not impossible that the origin of the problem comes from there. However, my mobile data was still working on 07/09.
Hello,
The attack that the mobile post suffered concerned customer files.
It should not impact the functioning of the network.
You did everything you could. Therefore, I share the same opinion as quentin2121. The post must be held accountable. This operator must be able to assist its customers and provide them with the service they are owed.
If not, there’s nothing left but to change operators.
Thank you for replying to me.
I contacted the service and they asked me to wait for the end of the attack (which has been going on for 2 weeks anyway!!). They did offer me a free month.
I will contact them again once their outage is resolved (within a reasonable timeframe).
I will eventually end up changing operators!
