Hello,
Since formatting my desktop PC, the Google window in the center of the screen no longer accepts characters. My searches are placed at the top in the toolbar! Can someone help me? I went to settings, processes, and I didn't see "explorer." I'm using Firefox. Win 10

You can install the New Tab Override extension
And in its options, check the box for:
When opening a new tab, select the web page instead of the address bar
