Hello,
I have a Samsung M2070 Series printer. A useless extra preview called Easy Eco driver appeared some time ago. This useless and slow gadget was wasting my time. But I didn't worry about it since I could still print. Now, it shows the message "Serious error occurs. Application would be shut down" and prevents me from printing?
How do I uninstall it? It doesn’t appear in the applications. I have disabled the option "Launch Easy Eco Driver before printing job." But it ignores that. It imposes itself and blocks everything.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Best regards,
Thierry.

I've got it now. By disabling the "Enable advanced printing features" option in the printer properties (Advanced tab), it no longer appears. Good riddance!

Hello,
Check if you haven't activated the option => https://support.hp.com/be-fr/document/c05634328

Hello,
Thank you for responding. Yes, I have disabled the option "Launch Easy Eco Driver before printing."
But the Easy Eco Driver preview continues to open, along with the error message "Serious error occurs. Application would be shut down." that blocks printing. -

Is this the right part?If you want to run Easy Eco Driver every time you print, select the Printer Properties tab > Basic and check the Start Easy Eco Driver before printing job box.
Check if it appears by doing:
=> Windows + R
=> Type appwiz.cpl and hit Enter
=> Check if you see it in the list

Yes, that's the part. Thank you, but it doesn't appear on the list. It's still a mystery how this gadget was launching even though I disabled it. But the main thing is that it works now.
