EcoTank Printer and 2650 EPSON Stamp Ink needs maintenance? Solved

Hello, can we intervene on a printer to replace the ink pad or should we always go for the seller's customer service?

Hello;  This is just my opinion... but given the price of this printer, it's better to leave this to a professional because replacing the ink pad is quite tricky... I'm not certain, but I believe Epson does this for free if the printer is recent! (they do it for resetting the ink counter... why not the ink pad) You should contact the Epson network to find the nearest one to your home... Yes Marion, thank you for following up with me, your message reassured me the other day and I took my printer to BOULANGER. After more than 2 weeks of waiting, their customer service replaced my machine with a standard exchange, which I didn't mind. That was yesterday, March 7, 2019, and it was an ET 4500, so I think it’s more recent and can do faxing if needed. Unfortunately, after reloading the ink and installing the new software, the printer won’t turn on and the power supply is unresponsive, so I returned the printer yesterday and this morning I received a text saying that the machine would be ready on April 6th. I'm really annoyed. It might be a fuse, a transformer, or a board?? I don’t know much about it. I’m going to ask them to speed up the date, it’s too long. Thank you very much for your information.

Hello becarre11....  Thank you for your reply... It really is unfortunate..... It seems that this new printer might not be brand new (subject to confirmation) and the reason why.... sadly it is malfunctioning on first startup?? It's true that the replacement delay is a bit long, but in my opinion, if you follow up periodically, you should gain 15 days by emphasizing the professional use of this printer..
