Discord is lagging my PC.

Hello everyone, it's been a few months now that whenever Discord is open, I frequently experience freezes on my PC for 2-3 seconds. Obviously, I've noticed this mainly while playing, and I want to specify that any input made during the freeze does not register, but the last one keeps going (for example: I press 'z' at the moment of the freeze to move forward, and I continue going straight during that phase). I would like to know if any of you have an idea on how to fix this issue.
I have already disabled hardware acceleration and reinstalled Discord.

    Hello,
    Do you have a lot of Discord servers? At one point, I enabled overlay and other background connections during my games.
    I can advise you to disable all of that (unless you're a streamer, but otherwise it’s unnecessary).
    There's also the significant number of servers you can be part of/own that can put a strain on your PC and increase your ping, especially those using bots.

    You can do a small comparison of memory usage in the task manager before and after the change.
