Hello,
I just bought a SAMSUNG 870 QVO internal SSD.
I've made the connections, everything should be fine, but since I plugged it in, I can't start my PC.
No display, nothing...
So I unplugged the SSD and the PC started up.
I tried again by plugging it back in and the same thing happened.
However, since then... whether the SSD is plugged in or not, I have no display.
I checked the connections of my graphics card and everything is fine.
It's worth noting that the BIOS version might have been causing issues with the drive, but now that nothing is displaying, it's a new problem.
Can someone please help me??
My setup:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
G.SKILL 2 x 8GB DDR4 RAM (3200MHz)
ASUS ROG Strix B-450 E
GIGABYTE NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super
One 250GB SSD (used for Windows)
One 2TB HDD
One 1TB SSD (the new one in question)

Hello!
You need to start by removing the new hard drive, taking out the RAM, and restarting.
Turn off the PC, put the RAM back in, and then restart.
If the display doesn't come back, turn off the PC, then remove the BIOS battery from the motherboard, wait 15 seconds, put it back, and then restart the PC.
I should note that I don't know your level of computer knowledge, so I want to clarify that a hard drive is sold blank, without an operating system.

You need to reconnect the SSD (power cable + SATA cable) and see if the PC still starts.
If you have no display again, then your new SSD is defective (or your power supply if you didn't use the same cable as the old hard drive).
Then, install a new operating system (Google can help you: install Windows).

Thank you, that helped me!
Yes! You just saved me! Thank you so much!
