Default tool is Hand on open

Solved

Hello,

Recently, the 'Select' tool has defaulted to opening my PDF files. I'm trying to find the option in the preferences that could switch it back to the 'Hand' tool by default when opening files, but I've had no success.

Does anyone know how to do this? I tried the 'Select text and images with the Hand tool' option, but there was no difference when opening.

Reading articles with the Hand tool is checked..

Thank you for your help!

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 97.0.4692.71

I succeeded by going to Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Touch Menu:

    and choosing "always".

    Close and reopen Acrobat.

    Then it should work.

If you go back to the menu and set the initial choice of the Touch Menu again, it should continue to work.

If the technique works like in the other Adobe software, try opening Acrobat (without opening any file). Select your tool, and then close Acrobat.
The next time you open it, the tool should be saved...
