Hello,
When installing the Bouygues fiber, in addition to the unchanged Box, there is a small black box (Huawei ONT terminal) connected to the fiber wall socket. Towards the Box, this box is plugged into the WAN port.
If I want to set up a powerline adapter (the first one in the setup), how do I connect it with an ethernet cable?
With ADSL, it was connected to the WAN port, but now it is occupied by the black box.
Thank you for your advice,
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 98.0

Hello,
I don't know the type of Fiber installation, but in principle, the PLC is connected neither to the WAN port of the ONT nor to that of the Box but to one of the LAN ports of the Box, just like you would connect another PC via an Ethernet cable, and that’s how it works on mine (SFR). -
Hi,
connect it to the LAN if you want to use it, but you should know that powerline adapters will make you lose a large part of the fiber benefits.
With fiber, you should prioritize direct ethernet cables or a mesh Wi-Fi system if you don't want to wire it.

and ... there you go! -
Thank you, it works with these connections.
Indeed, the speed at the box is 560Mbps and with Powerline it's 200Mbps!!
