Hello,

I don't know if my post is in the right theme, but anyway.

I bought a course at a certain price on Teachable, but I can't retrieve the videos and files from the course via Teachable onto my hard drive. I have to be logged in to access the content, and that doesn't really suit me.

So I would like to know how I can quickly retrieve all the content from the course without having to download the videos one by one, page by page, which would take me forever.

Thank you all for your attention, and thank you for your responses.

it might be too late, but the only viable solution I found is the screen recording that Windows offers (Windows key+G), in a way it records your screen and therefore the video you would be watching.

    Hello.
It's normal for them to protect their videos that are only available online, because if they were downloadable, they would end up for free on illegal sites.

    It’s understandable…

The risk is also that if the instructor's Teachable account goes down for any reason… The buyer ends up losing out… (Especially given the price of certain content).

Anyway, in the meantime, that doesn’t help me find a solution to recover the content that I have duly paid for, on my PC?
It’s for my personal use (and not to upload it to another site, legal or not, personally I don’t see the point).

If anyone has an idea. Thank you.

There is no solution outside of illegal solutions as they are not desired by Teachable.
What you paid for is only access to the videos through your Teachable account.

Is having offline access to a product purchased legitimately illegal? But selling a mere "access" to videos at exorbitant prices is?

I’m not sure it’s up to Teachable to decide what should be legal or not...

Teachable does not allow consumers to retrieve what they have paid for, but imposes no limits on course creators who charge excessive prices, at least for simple access.

So I don’t see what’s wrong with trying to download content that I paid a certain price for... so if a method exists, whatever it may be, I’m sorry, I’ll take it.

Consulting the Terms of Service is very likely advisable and therefore legal, they sell access, not videos.

Reading the Terms of Service of websites is like training, but free, so do it.
