Buy a PC on Sedatech (Scam?)

Hello,
The Sedatech website assembles PCs and some prices seem tempting like the one I'm aiming for. (a little over €1000)
Especially for high-definition gaming as well as 3D modeling and video editing.
Is Sedatech reliable? Is this offer reasonable?

I do not recommend Sedatech from personal experience; it is not the site that manages payment transactions, so in case of a problem you will have to deal with a ghost site, Wirecard. Just imagine the rest; getting a refund will take a lot of time.

Sedatech is a German company that sells more than 8000 PCs per year.
The PCs are available for sale on the website as well as on Amazon, CDiscount, rueducommerce, Fnac, etc.

Hello,
it's about the price of the PC, but when it comes to gaming, it's another story... with a GTX 1050 you won't get far.

at this price you can get an i5-8400 + GTX 1060 6GB, a more powerful CPU and a GPU that's twice as powerful for the same total price or almost the same price depending on whether Windows is pre-installed (100€ difference, an official Windows license can be bought for 13€)

Thank you, so the fact that it's an i5 isn't a bad thing?
Right now I have a laptop with a core i5 and a nvidia geforce GT 540M 2GB (please don't laugh ^^)
Is there a big difference between the gtx 1050 and gtx 1060? Or is it just a matter of "GB" (like 1060 6GB)?

The difference for gaming between an i5 and an i7 (of the same generation) is not very significant; it depends on the generation of the processors and their model. The i7-7700 is from the 7th generation and has the same power as the i5-8400 from the 8th generation. The difference is more noticeable in tasks that require CPU resources (video rendering, compression for example) where the i7 would perform better:

Regarding graphics cards, there is a big difference between the GTX 1050 and the 1060; the GPU of the GTX 1060 is more powerful than that of the GTX 1050 (that's just how it is). Then there's the graphic memory (or VRAM), which can be seen as the amount of graphics that the card can handle. For most games, 3GB is sufficient, but we are increasingly leaning towards a minimum of 4GB with today's graphics (which is becoming limited in some games). That's why we avoid recommending cards with less than 4GB (including the GTX 1060 3GB).

Thank you for this insightful opinion.
I would like to know if this PC offer you are suggesting would be "superior"
or equivalent to these specifications:
(a little mix of things noted in the required configuration for certain games)

CPU:
Core i7 2600 or better

RAM:
6 GB RAM, 8 GB RAM (if possible)

GPU:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 equivalent

DX:
Version 11

OS:
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS)

Sound:
DirectX compatible soundcard

(I specify that I would prefer an Intel CPU)

OK, and regarding the "GeForce GTX" 1060, it's not specified whether it's a 6GB or another model.
How can you tell?

I would also be interested to know where to get a good version of Windows 10 or something similar legally. I've always had a Windows provided until now.
