I have 2 horizontal black bars on Elden Ring.

Hello, I’m sending this little message in hopes of getting some help. Some time ago, I bought Elden Ring, but there’s a problem: when I launch it, I have two black bars that ruin the gameplay.
I’ve searched everywhere, changed the resolution with the default settings, used a launch option, modified the settings through the .ini file, checked Windows compatibility, and nothing worked. So I’m seeking help here, thanking you in advance for any responses.

Screen resolution 1680/1050

    the 2 black bars are distributed at the top and bottom of the image, can we assume that..? Or not

    Such defects are due to configuration errors regarding display and screen settings..

    It wouldn't hurt to know the brand and model of the screen as well as the PC and its version of Windows, that helps.

    The correct adjustment consists of aligning the display settings on the PC or PS with the characteristics of the screen... Image size, refresh rate, etc... Don't forget that there are also settings in the OSD menu of the screen...

    Another point not to be overlooked is the compatibility of the connection cable between the two... No adapter..
