Hello,

I can't get my wall RJ45 socket in the living room to communicate with the box where my Bouygues box is connected.
I'm on VDSL, there is no fiber, I connect my gray ADSL socket to the box to the DTI test socket, and then I connect an Ethernet cable from my box to the splitter (where the octopus is originally plugged), but it doesn't communicate.

Attached are some photos.

Thank you!

Problem solved, the wires of the RJ45 socket in the living room were not clipped properly, so there was no contact and no power. I clipped them firmly and it works!

I should mention that I dismantled the RJ45 socket in the living room and it is indeed connected with 8 wires.

      Hi,
when you open the CAD (the little forks on the left) of a socket like this,
you should always reposition the wires 2/3 mm further away so that the CAD does not cut into the insulation (and nick the copper) in the same place, otherwise it can lead to poor contact.

    Hello,
Above the DTI in your first photo, we can see 3 RJ45 sockets
Apparently, these are the sockets connected to the sockets in the rooms. This is where you need to connect 3 patch cords to the yellow sockets of your box

A photo showing these RJ45 sockets (view from below) above the DTI would be welcome...
Where is your box installed? Close to the DTI?
Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it’s not there...

    Hello.
Okay, but where does it go on the electrical panel because I only see a phone splitter?
A phone splitter is wired with 4 wires, and for a computer network, you need 8.
    .
In the electrical panel, it would be better to install a gigabit switch with 5 or 8 ports and connect to it.
