Friend suggestions issue

Hello,

I don't understand because on Instagram most people have a banner that appears when they log in and scroll through their feed, suggesting friends (related to the people we follow / who already follow us).

I have none, is there someone to select to see them appear?

I only see when I go to "my followers" at the bottom of that list "contacts to discover" and when I click on it only profiles of famous people appear (like: Beyoncé, Nike, Leo Messi...) which doesn't interest me.

Has anyone encountered this problem and found a solution?

    You can click on the arrow next to "edit profile" in your profile to bring up suggested contacts

    I continue in this same post and it's strange because I still don't have friend suggestions appearing at the top of the news feed like some others do.
    I only see it when I scroll down to my followers under "contacts to discover," with a list of public or notable people appearing.
    Are others affected too?

      I have exactly the same problem, no arrows on the right side and no suggestions. Have you found a solution?
