Thunderbird synchronization of two computers

Hello, I have Thunderbird to manage my email. I've created about 300 folders under the "Personal Folders" section, and through filters, my emails are sorted daily into these folders and subfolders. However, this organization only applies to my desktop computer. On my laptop, which I use for travel, I also installed Thunderbird but I don't have any of these folders containing the received emails. I would like to find a solution so that these 300 personal folders, populated by the filters set up (or by dragging from the inbox), are available on both the desktop computer and the laptop. Thank you very much for your help. The desktop PC is running Windows 7 Professional and the laptop is running Windows 10.
Pierre

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 96.0.4664.45

Hello
You can read this article Thunderbird User Data to find out how to "copy" data from one Thunderbird to another.
See you later
If the answer helped you: a little thank you is nice. If it's resolved: the green button at the top is better ;-)

Let anyone who has never opened a user manual throw me the first mouse.

Thank you for your clarifications. It seems that I have found the location of the messages on the desktop PC. I will see how to copy them to the laptop. But for the future, will the "organization" of an email into a personal folder on the desktop PC be done the same way on the laptop? That is my difficulty. Pierre

Hello

You should have the IMAP accounts set up on both of your machines and all your messages should synchronize identically.

Since this doesn't seem to be the case, check the configuration on the desktop first, then on the laptop.

Cheers

Thank you for your help. I can't find the 300 organizational folders of the "PERSONAL FILES" with the emails sorted in each of them on my laptop. I'm going in circles but not getting anywhere. I don't want to disturb the forum any longer. Thank you all once again. I will consider the subject closed to free up the participants. Pierre

Hello,

The question has been raised elsewhere.

We cannot do this, unless we use a mail server, or by making a copy of our Thunderbird profile on a USB stick that we import onto the laptop when we go on a trip.
