Hello,
For the past few days, a new option has appeared on Messenger that allows you to restrict conversations. Once contacts are restricted, you can find them under Privacy, then restricted conversations, and you can remove the restriction.
Today, I noticed that this option has disappeared; there are no more restricted conversations under Privacy, and I can't find the contacts I restricted a few days ago.
I also checked under message requests, spam, and blocked accounts, but they're nowhere to be found, even with a name search in contacts.
Configuration: Android / Chrome 93.0.4577.82

Thin… Try uninstalling Messenger a bit and we'll see what happens, you'll check the missing contacts after the uninstallation.

So I reinstalled the app, restricted chat is still not available, but I noticed that by typing the full names of the restricted contacts, I can find them and access the chat, it's just their new messages that don't appear in notifications.
So I tried with a fake account that I had restricted before, the messages sent from the fake account to my real account are visible in the chat, but I can't send a message to my fake account, when I do it says sending failed you cannot perform this operation.
