Hello,
I'm working on packaging in Illustrator and all my photo montages are done beforehand in Photoshop.
However, recently when I insert my Photoshop montages into Illustrator, I get this error message:
The embedded color profile of the document does not match the current CMYK working space.
The current CMYK color management policy is to ignore such profiles.
Embedded: Coated FOGRA27 (ISO 12647-2:2004)
Working space: Coated FOGRA39 (ISO 12647-2:2004)
OK CANCEL
Do you know what I should do?
I don't understand because I've never had this kind of problem before.
Thank you in advance.

The images you have converted or modified in Photoshop have been saved with an RGB-to-CMYK conversion profile... In this case, you used FOGRA27.
In Illustrator, you set the software to notify you of a difference upon import. And since your workspace uses the FOGRA39 profile.. you receive this message.
Personally, if you are working in CMYK, I recommend not including a profile in the image from Photoshop. If it is in CMYK, it no longer needs to be converted, so including a profile can only distort the color separation later on.
The FOGRA profile is used to convert RGB to CMYK.. for some time now, we have been using FOGRA39, which is more stable than the previous one in the shifts of dark tones (preference for black).
Configure the color management rule upon import in Illustrator (menu "edit/color")

Thank you for your response, I have another question.
Can you tell me how you manage to exclude a profile in the image in Photoshop?!
Oh, alright then I will change my color profile to FOGRA39
Thank you very much, you have been very helpful.
