Inkscape: Document Resolution Settings (DPI)

Hello.

I need to import several images of different sizes but with a defined resolution (300 DPI) into the same document. However, once the images are imported, they are larger than the document. How can I change the document resolution to 300 DPI?

    Inkscape is a vector graphics software.
    If you import an image, it retains its original resolution. However, the resolution will change depending on whether you enlarge or reduce the size of your image in the document.

    The resolution of an image is not its dimension; it is the number of pixels in a defined dimension.
