How to use a prepaid card registered in Nintendo eShop on Fortnite

Hello,
My son received a Nintendo prepaid card and entered the code in the Nintendo eShop but made a mistake as he wanted to use it for purchases on Fortnite. It's impossible to use the code on Fortnite since it has already been used in the eShop! How can you pay on Fortnite with funding from the eShop?

If a purchase has been made, you may have cancellation options as the law states, though merchants certainly don’t like giving refunds.
Try contacting them using the details provided.

Hello, you can use the balance of your account on the Nintendo eShop to purchase content for Fortnite.
Go to the Nintendo eShop, look for the Fortnite page, and check the "In-game items" section. You will be able to use your balance to buy V-Bucks or packs from the Nintendo eShop.
Note: Nintendo eShop prepaid cards can only be redeemed on the Nintendo eShop. You wouldn't have been able to redeem this code directly on Fortnite anyway.

Actually, I don't necessarily want a refund; I just want to know if it's possible to transfer the money credited to the eShop to Fortnite... but I can't find out how to do it...

I went to the eShop, then Fortnite, but I can't find any items in the software. I see the Fortnite image, "purchased", but nothing more. As soon as I click on it, it sends me back to the game without giving me the option to choose an item! Can you please help me? Thank you.
