AACS library issue VLC

Kuchinawa -
 Kuchinawa -
Hello, my VLC cannot read Blu-ray discs. I know that I need to download KEYDB and libaacs.dll and place them in specific locations, but it still doesn't work; I still have the same problem. However, folders have been added in appdata\aacs with the KEYDB, which shows that something has happened, but I still can't find a solution... I've tried with both the x64 and x32 versions of VLC.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 94.0

    Hello,

I can't answer with certainty (my PC doesn't have a Blu-ray drive) but I have seen these two procedures to read Blu-rays with VLC:
    - https://www.astuces-pratiques.fr/informatique/lire-un-blu-ray-avec-vlc

    Good luck ;-)

    Best regards

Hello, thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I had already seen those forums and I followed all the instructions to the letter, without success. That's actually why I'm asking here.

Maybe try this player that seems to be free: https://www.leawo.org/blu-ray-player/

Re. I've already tried with this player but I can't navigate through the menus and it annoys me. I really wish I could use VLC but I don't know why it's not working...
