Good evening,
For a few months now, my external 1 TB drive E:\ has not been opening.
After searching on the forum for solutions like updating drivers with Driverscloud, I haven't found anything that worked (unlike in this thread: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-36618326-lecteur-d-avec-point-d-interrogation-bleu-inaccessible. Indeed, the drive in question still does not appear in the disk management.
Here is the configuration of my PC:
As well as my installed drivers:
I hope I have given you enough information to have some ideas.
Thank you in advance for your responses, if there are any.

Hello
It could just as well be the reader itself or the cable.
Since it's an external one, first check if it works on another PC. If not, replace the cable for a test.
If nothing works anywhere, bad news; either the controller of the enclosure is faulty, or the disk is dead.
Best regards

Hello Lecabel.
Thank you very much for all these explanations. While continuing to check the points that could cause me problems, I just noticed that in my device manager, following the power surge, a driver caught my attention (in the IDE ATA controller). I uninstalled it (ATA channel 0) and everything went back to normal. Apparently everything is working fine as my partitions no longer have blue question marks.
Thank you so much Lecabel for looking for solutions to help me. I’m keeping them as a backup.
Thanks also to Zoxy.

Re: Blue question mark
Well, I have his laptop and the blue question mark was next to his E drive in the file explorer... It was enough to plug in a USB stick and the blue question mark disappeared. It wasn't in the device manager.
Check the health status of the disk...

Otherwise, what does it look like when plugged into another computer?
