Hello everyone,
I recently subscribed to a 4G box offer, the box is a Huawei B628-265.
My ADSL connection is 10 Mbps.
The issue I'm facing is that the network on the 800 MHz and 1800 MHz bands is saturated in the evening, and I find myself having only 2 Mbps compared to 100 Mbps at 5 AM, with 4 bars of signal.
To solve the problem, I switched the router to the 2100 MHz band, I only have two bars of signal but a constant speed between 20 and 25 Mbps regardless of the time of day.
I received an email offering me a refund for a Huawei AF79 antenna, do you think it's worth it? Will my speed on the 2100 MHz band be better, a better signal?
Thank you for your answers.

Hello,
with an antenna (outdoor and high) you receive better than without an antenna, that's true everywhere.
That said, the antenna does not solve network saturation.
-- However, you also mention ADSL in the same context... it has nothing to do with 4G, and your router does nothing for ADSL... What should be understood..??
-- I also don't understand why you are getting refunded..? Does that mean you are returning the antenna when it's more of a necessity...
-- Be careful, these antennas are not necessarily made for outdoor use in the rain... It's better to have a model guaranteed for outdoor use... fully waterproof.
Moreover, this antenna is omnidirectional... It will definitely have a lower gain than a directional antenna... In your case, a directional antenna would give you a better signal level... but you need to know where the relay that services your 4G is located to point the antenna in its direction...
That's it for improving your reception/speed.
