Hello,

For half an hour now, the touchscreen of my Blackview BV4900 phone has not been responding. I cleaned it, but nothing works.

When I searched (on a computer, of course) on Google for how to fix it, I saw that most sites recommend restarting the phone. Great. Except that to turn it off or restart, you need to use the touchscreen. And since it’s not responding...

Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,
Have you used a product to clean the touchscreen?

    Hello Panth33ra.

No. Just a regular disinfecting wipe. But it didn't change anything. The screen wasn't unusually dirty, anyway.

      He didn't fall either?
      Is it recent?

Yes, it is recent, and no, it hasn't fallen either. I was using it, and the screen stopped responding.

Since it is recent, use its warranty. The problem is hardware.

I tried to remove the SIM card to put it back, but it was a very bad idea: now it asks me for my PIN code, but I still can't enter it. Before, my phone at least showed me the time. Not anymore.

On Amazon, unfortunately. Last April. And I don't know if it's still under warranty.

As you can imagine, I need my phone every day. To tell the time, to wake me up in the morning, to time the cooking of pasta, but especially to find a job, so that companies can call me. So staying half a day without my phone is truly a disaster for me.

      Good evening,
"And I don't know if it's still under warranty."
It's not really the seller's fault if you don't know whether the smartphone is under warranty, is it?
As for cooking pasta, I must admit, I have nothing left to say about that.

I never said it was the seller's fault. As for my last message, I apologize. I had a terrible day, and I just needed to say that, just to make it clear that I really need my phone.

I managed to contact Amazon, and they confirmed that the phone is under warranty. For now, they only gave me the manufacturer's email address. I will take care of that tomorrow. I'm tired.

        Hello,
The smartphone is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of purchase on new products (see invoice). If it is refurbished or second-hand, the warranty is shorter.
