Good evening everyone
My PC (Windows 7) can no longer detect my phone (Samsung Grand Prime) as a USB device (the battery starts charging, but the device does not appear in "Computer")
- I downloaded and installed this driver "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.25.0" on my PC
- I bought a new cable
- I dialed *#7284# (tip found on this very forum)
- I checked "debugging" on my phone
- My USB ports work well with other devices (mouse, for example)
- I installed and used Samsung Kies (the "transfer to device" option does not work)
No solution has worked!! still the same problem!!
Please help me with a practical and concrete tip
Thank you in advance

I also have this problem with my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime which is no longer recognized by my PC recently. The phone charges when plugged in and signals the USB port, but the PC does not detect the device neither when it is in PTP nor MTP. I wonder if the problem might not be with the USB port of the phone which could have been damaged somehow and which prevents any connection with a PC or another computer (because I have tried several times to connect my phone to a PC and several computers). But if it is indeed the USB port of the phone that is damaged, then how can it still charge??
I would like to understand the problem and find a solution, thanks for your help
The situation is quite critical because my phone also indicates that the memory is full while I have already uninstalled 3/4 of my downloaded applications as well as my photo albums and memos. I also noticed that my battery had a defect after an accidental fall. A piece near the connectors came off, but only the black plastic border
Thank you for sharing any solutions you may have
