Printers with Windows 11

If Plug and Pray were sufficient, all hardware designed for XP would continue to work.

Microsoft merely implements the drivers from manufacturers to whom the specifications have been provided, and who may or may not invest in writing drivers for hardware they consider obsolete.

Drivers designed for the previous version, in this case Windows 10, may or may not continue to function.

The situation with scanners is even more complicated since not only may the Twain version be incompatible, but some scanners come with proprietary drivers.

In the first case, and in the event of Twain compatibility, we will only have Windows scanning; in the second case, without an update, we will have nothing at all (for example, historically, a number of Epson scanners are not recognized and do not scan anything except with proprietary drivers).

Moreover, beyond scanning drivers, most scanners have a specific menu that will remain silent if the corresponding software is not directly compatible with Windows 11 or has not been updated by the manufacturer.

Same for the cannons, it's a scam to go to 11.

I'm fine with the scanner but no printing for my Canon MG5350.
