Hello,
I don't know how it happened, but my PayPal account got registered as the payment method on ALI EXPRESS, and I can't remove it. I've looked for a way to do it; I can remove a bank card but not a PayPal account.

Hello, I had exactly the same issue. You need to go to your PayPal account and cancel the automatic payment.

You go to your PayPal account, then to payments and there you see a list of automatic payments or not, you select the one you want to delete and on the right side of the page it says "active," you click on it and follow the procedure.

Hello, the previous person is right, you need to go to your PayPal account, and you will be able to see your Aliexpress payments or even the others, and you can cancel all your automatic payments. I checked again on Aliexpress and my PayPal is gone.

If I understood correctly, the emails that PayPal sends following the cancellation of the automatic payment indicate that it is no longer possible to pay via PayPal at all. Here is what is stated:
This email confirms that you have canceled the billing authorization connecting you to ALIPAY US, INC. No new payments from your PayPal account will be sent to this seller. If you have any further questions regarding this authorization or if you wish to reinstate it, please contact ALIPAY US, INC. directly.

Yes, but nothing stops us from paying again, we just have to cancel the automatic payment via PayPal. It's the same with many other sites like Airbnb.

Same problem. Recording of my PayPal data without authorization from AliExpress. Impossible to find a way to cancel the payment method on Ali.
I changed my password for PayPal. And canceled the direct debit authorization on the PayPal app.

I have already set my PayPal to Inactive and deleted the saved posts, but nothing worked. When I tried to pay a few months later, I didn't even need to select my username, nor the payment method... incredible ????.

Paypal does not give authorization to Aliexpress or anyone else.. It is Aliexpress that retrieves the information you have stored in your browser to offer you the payment method you have already used.
Try clearing your browser to restore it to its original settings. You may lose all your previous configurations, as well as possibly saved passwords, but security comes at a price.
On e-commerce sites, never save your credit cards or other information... It’s too easy to use them in case the site gets hacked.

Bjr, I do not wish to permanently delete PayPal, I want to be able to continue paying with it... I just want to modify my PayPal account. I made a purchase once with my husband's PayPal account in October, and since then, it has been saved permanently. I want to revert back to my personal PayPal account. Can someone help me, please?

I have the same problem.

What surprises me is that I have never saved my PayPal password; to log into PayPal, I have to enter it, but Aliexpress can access it directly anyway.

It's really strange, maybe because I made a payment in installments in the past that granted them the privilege to charge me now without my password?

Did you also pay in installments through this site?

Thank you for this explanation. I really didn't like having this direct access from Aliexpress to my PayPal account without any security! I don't remember ever having approved that...
