Hello everyone, today I bought a PS5 controller that I connected to my PC. At first, everything was fine; it was recognized as another device, so I could play my games like Red Dead. However, 3 hours later, it stopped working, and I noticed that it suddenly switched to the "audio device" category. I don't know how to revert it to how it was before. I tried several methods I found online, such as disabling it as an audio device or trying with Steam to play my games with the controller. As for the Steam method, it works, but I would like to know if there is a way to fix this connectivity issue as an audio device (I should mention it’s connected via a USB-C cable that allows for data transfer). Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hello
If it still doesn't work, try Steam, because you can configure your controller on Steam wired or wirelessly. -
it's probably because of the audio output function of the controller...
check if there are any drivers to install
