Broken PS5 controller

Hello, unfortunately yesterday I dropped my PS5 controller and as a result the jack input seems to be slightly cracked, so when I plug in my headset the sound glitches and I have to hold the cable in a certain position to be able to activate my microphone and hear the sound properly.

I'm sure the problem is with my controller as I tested with another one and everything works.

Can the warranty still be used even though I caused it due to a slight drop? I bought the controller 2 months ago.

Thank you and have a good day.

    Hello,

A warranty, unless a separate contract is taken out (for breakage, theft, fire), only covers malfunctions, provided that the equipment has not been disassembled or modified.

Otherwise, some players could continuously replace their destroyed equipment due to thrown peripherals, broken screens, or computers tossed out of a window after a missed shot.

That being said, any repair technician knows (knew?) how to re-solder a headphone jack, as long as it's not a special jack.
