Hello,
I'm exploding my problem to you.
I have an Asus laptop, and for some time now, one or two keys have been malfunctioning... Anyway, I have an external keyboard, so it's not too much of an issue.
But yesterday, without the external keyboard, I used my PC and when I clicked on specific keys (G or E), the PC turns off as if I had pressed the power button.
And then, after several restarts, when turning on the PC, it turns off after 2 seconds... Not even enough time to access the BIOS.
I took everything apart, the RAM, the hard drive, checked the power supply, cleaned the fan... Same thing, nothing works. I'm at my wit's end.
Then, I had an idea... to quickly turn on the PC and quickly remove the ribbon cable from the laptop keyboard to see... and bam, that was it. The keyboard is glitching and shuts down the PC at startup as if I forcibly turned it off.
I would like to know if there's a way to fix the glitch, the ribbon cable seems intact.
I wanted to find the key causing the problem, but it's a nightmare to disassemble all those keys.
Is a new internal keyboard the only solution? Or is it the motherboard?
Thank you.

Hello,
your keyboard is broken, just change it; it's quite simple to do.

My main problem is the power button. I can't turn on the PC and then use an external keyboard.
