Good evening,

I am reaching out to you because for some time now my computer takes a long time to shut down (about 3 good minutes).

Windows seems to be closing normally. My screen turns off quickly (goes into sleep mode) but my tower stays on.

Do you have any advice you can give me on this issue?

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

Check in the task manager that certain programs have not been installed without your knowledge, which would take time to close (startup tab). Disable any unnecessary or non-essential applications.

Similarly, in settings, privacy, disable unused programs during a session.

Furthermore, holding the up arrow key (Shift) when requesting to close Windows can speed up the process.

    Best regards

      Good evening,

Thank you for your response. Indeed, I had a few unnecessary programs and a poorly installed driver. I have now reinstalled this driver and the issue is resolved.

      Thank you.

      Have a good evening.
