Some minor adjustment issues with a ctronics CT-S20 camera

The solution has been found.

If we manage to change the time, the recording works with the alarm.

It's another person from the forum who provides the solution: you need to go to the time settings, set the device time to the correct time zone, I activated DST and especially synchronize at the bottom, it restarts the camera and the video recording works with the alarm.

1. Connect the camera to the power supply for about 3 minutes, press the reset button (attached) for 10 seconds, after hearing a loud sound from the camera, wait 2 minutes.

2. Open the WLAN/WIFI list in the smartphone’s settings area.

3. Find IPCAM-XXXXXX (xxxxxx is the UID number of your camera), connect to it, and enter the password "01234567".

4. The smartphone will lose its internet connection, but this is normal, don't worry, just confirm the connection with IPCAM-XXXXXX (once the camera is configured with WIFI, the smartphones and WIFI internet will be fine).

5. Open the APP (click "edit" in the top right corner, then click the red icon "-" in front of the camera to remove the original UID for this camera that you added before, but please do not remove other cameras).

6. Click "ADD CAMERA" in the top left corner.

7. Click "search camera from LAN" or click the small scan icon on the right side of the UID line to scan the QR code on the camera's sticker. (attachment 2)

8. Find the camera and connect it; the camera will be online, please keep the camera name and default password at this stage.

9. Open the gear on the right side, click on "WIFI Settings".

10. Choose the home WIFI and enter your wifi password.

For those who can't connect remotely, it's probably because you are connecting directly to the camera via hotspot, so in your camera settings, you need to configure your Wi-Fi network and that should solve the problem.

For video recording, I managed to fix the issue by performing the following action: resetting the camera, then on the first connection via hotspot, I chose the timezone G+2 Europe/Athens (without syncing anything beforehand) and by confirming this, it informed me that the camera would restart (whereas before, it didn't take my changes into account when I returned to the settings).

For now, no problems for those who are waiting 6 hours to see the videos; it’s probably the timezone that’s incorrect because I can see the recorded videos right after the alarm goes off.
